Industrial Cross

I bought a plain Jane wood cross from Hobby Lobby for $1.49 and spruced that baby up.

I spray painted it a glossy black and added a rusty round metal piece I found in the street while taking a walk with the kids.

I twisted silver wire around the entire middle and also used the wire at the top so I can hang it up easily.

I like the super glossy finish paired with that rusty and crusty metal medallion.

Love getting inspiration from trash found in the street:)

Wow, that is just stunning! Isn't it great when you find some overlooked trash that you can transform into treasure? I'd love for you to come link this up to the Head to Head Showdown, going on right now at www.icantstopcrafting.blogspot.com
