Grow Box Update

 

After being on vacation for the past 2 weeks, we finally, finally got the trellis for my grow boxes installed on the wall!

Aside from the bowed brackets, and the cursing while we tried to screw them in, it actually went well and looks really nice!

We painted the brackets white to match our house trim and the white trellis. Then we screwed the brackets horizontally along the wall up to about 7 feet.

Then we screwed each trellis (I bought 5 premade from Home Depot) into the brackets.

The tomatoes plants are doing fantastic and my little snap peas are close to beginning their long climb up our pretty new trellis.

One note though.....if you have children be sure to ask them to refrain from shoving sidewalk chalk down all the tubes....it makes it hard to water and they are a devil to get out!
