Guess what?
I've made a few bucks from my ETSY shop over the past few months....not enough to like buy a car, but a few bucks and what do you think I did with a bit of that money?
New boots?
A rockin bag?
A new duvet set?
Nope. Maybe 4 years ago that's where my heart would have landed, but now-a-days my interests have broadened.
Here is what I scored!
Our cordless circular saw was worthless and me (and mostly my husband) have been kickin it old school with a hand saw like Pa Ingalls,
No... I'm serious. All those pallets were cut with a hand saw! So I think he was just as happy as I was with that purchase. I cut up a pallet the afternoon I brought that sucker home and it felt GOOOOOD.
We didn't even have a miter saw and I am SOOO excited for my first project with that thing. A few weeks ago I won a giveaway and a free canvas from U-Print. It came in the mail and I am using some old fence post wood to build a frame for it. I am thinking something simple like this.

I used some of that wood for this project and for this one too...that wood just won't go away!Using that old stuff takes the pressure off, if I totally screw up the project I am not out any money:) I mean, how hard could it be....really?

Way better self-appreciation gift! The boots and handbag will go out of style or wear out! You can use these everyday! Go girl! Merry Christmas! xo
